But also it spices up the stories: The news reports occasionally made the point that the deceased was just an ordinary guy, not trying to cause trouble, but the TV show adds fictional details to make the deceased seem to be seriously crazy or criminal or conniving, so nobody feels any sympathy for departed - I suppose a hangover of the old Hayes Code that justice should triumph.

What I found: Not only does the TV show change the names, it also changes dates and places something that probably doesn't matter to 99% of the audience. ¶ Some of the stories on the show are so unique and newsworthy that I made a point of checking them out using Lexis-Nexis newsclipping service. The deathes are not always related to one specific person. I guess the video highlighting his death was never leaked. However, when I looked up David Zaback's name on Google, I couldn't find a video of it. I hope more will be posted in the future.
